Terms & Conditions

 

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT: A deposit of $300 per person with registration to secure space. Remaining balance due on or before 120 days before departure. The preferred payment method is via personal check or money order. If registering online via EliasTours.com, deposit may be paid by check or credit card. An electronic invoice will be emailed to all travelers with option to pay by credit card. A non-refundable 4% platform fee is charged for every electronic payment. 

AIRFARE: Economy class and round-trip airfares are based on the time of the reservation. Flight schedules, pricing, flight numbers, equipment, gates, and seats are subject to change without notice. For the most current information, frequently check the airline website once your tickets are issued. Passengers who are arriving in/departing from the group destination at a different time than the rest of the group are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to/from the group hotel from/to the airport. Passengers who are requesting to depart from a different city than listed in the trip brochure are encouraged to arrange their own flights to and from the group destination. We can arrange the flight outside the group departure city with fare deference(s) applied. The package price listed in the trip brochure is for group airfare only. 

FLIGHT/CRUISE CABIN UPGRADES: Once Elias Tours receives an upgrade request, we will contact the airline/cruise line to finalize your request. We cannot guarantee the acceptance of this request as it is subject to availability and pricing (which can fluctuate daily). For flight upgrades: once an upgrade is accepted by the airline, paid for by the passenger, and ticket is issued to passenger, the upgraded ticket is not refundable. 

AIRLINE SEATING: Elias Tours contracts non-refundable bulk group airfares in standard economy class. Airlines no longer provide seat assignments for groups and ET does not guarantee specific seat assignments. Seat assignments for groups are made at the discretion of the airline and are typically allocated by automated airline computer systems in alphabetical order. Seat assignments will not be advised until check-in at the airport. Elias Tours cannot request and does not guarantee specific seat assignments.

AIRLINE FREQUENT FLYER/TSA PRECHECK/GLOBAL ENTRY: Frequent flyer, TSA Precheck, and Global Entry numbers can only be added at the time of check-in.

GROUND/TRANSFERS: Transfers and ground transportation by deluxe air-conditioned motor coaches for the entire tour, plus transport from and to the airport.  

LAND-ONLY ARRANGEMENTS: Participants who wish to arrange their airfare should choose the Land Only option when registering. Participants arranging their own airfare should notify Elias Tours at least 5 months before the departure date. Land Only passengers arriving with or before the group are welcome to join the group bus at no additional charge. For those not arriving with the group, Elias Tours can arrange a private transfer at an additional cost. Or we recommend using an airport taxi to take you to your hotel. 

HOTELS: Priced based on two persons sharing a room with a private bath and shower. A limited number of single rooms are available at regular supplement prices. All Hotels are 4-Star. 

SIGHTSEEING: English-speaking guides as well as entrance fees to all places of interest listed in your itinerary (unless site is listed as optional or extra cost is indicated under site).

TOUR ITINERARY SUBJECT TO CHANGE: Elias Tours constantly strives to adhere to the specifics shown in the itinerary; however, circumstances may necessitate changes. Such circumstances may require changes without advance notice during the tour. Elias Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary if unforeseen circumstances beyond our control force a change. Elias Tours is not responsible for any changes caused by unforeseen circumstances.

PORTERAGE: Fees for the porterage of one piece of baggage per person not to exceed 50 lbs, in connection with all transfers and at airports throughout the entire itinerary are included. An overnight bag may also be carried, provided it remains in the possession of the passenger at all times. This bag, although carried personally, is considered part of your total luggage allowance.

SERVICE CHARGES AND TAXES: Service charges as required by hotel management and taxes as imposed by national and/or local governments and/or governments and/or administrations (wherever these are normally added to the bill) on the date of this brochure are included.

NOT INCLUDED: Excess baggage fees, passport fees, visa fees if applicable, lunches, items of a personal nature such as in-room service, laundry, etc., soft drinks, beverages that are not on the regular table d’hote menu, trip or baggage insurance. Any service whatsoever not indicated in the itinerary and/or the above list of included features.

FARES AND RATES: All fares and rates are based on tariff and rate sheets issued by carriers, sightseeing operators, and hotels in effect at the present date, as well as upon the present rate of conversion of foreign currencies into the United States dollars. Therefore, all said rates and fares are subject to change without prior notice.

LATE ADDITIONS: Travelers may book a tour up to 72 hours prior to departure if there is a spot available for them in the group. However, any bookings made within 120 days of departure will be subject to any increased cost in hotel or airfare, plus a $300.00 admin fee for late registration. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposits and other payments are fully refundable up to 120 days before departure. There will be no refund for cancellations within 120 days of departure, no-shows, or partially completed tours. All cancellation requests must be addressed to Elias Tours in writing. Travel insurance is highly recommended. (Online Payment Platform Fees are not refundable

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is not included in the package price. For your convenience, we offer travel insurance through Travelex Insurance Services. RESPONSIBILITY: The Tour Leader, Elias Tours referred to as the operator, acts only as an agent for the owners or contractors providing means of transportation or other services and all such means of transportation or other services offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions that the tour leader, Elias Tours, and/or operator shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way, in connection with such means of transportation or other services, or for any loss, injury or damage in respect of any person or property howsoever, caused or arising. If the Tour Leader, Elias Tours, and/or the operator make it desirable or necessary to change or cancel for non-payment, the travel plan or program, such change or cancellation may be made. Additional expenses, if any, caused hereby shall be borne by the passenger, and in the case of a decrease in cost, the Tour Leader, Elias Tours, and/or operator will refund to the passenger an amount equal and limited to the decrease. Although the owners or contractors providing means of transportation or other services will take all possible care of passenger's baggage and belongings entrusted to their care, the Tour Leader, Elias Tours, and/or operator does not in any way accept responsibility in the event of loss or injury thereto. Passports must be valid and not expire at least six months or more from the return home date.
