Overview

As we enter the season of Lent in this jubilee year with its focus on being "Pilgrims of Hope", Pope Francis has called on the faithful to embark on a pilgrimage in 2025.

I will be leading a Marien Shrine pilgrimage to Europe for 14 days. We will travel to three countries: France, Spain, and Portugal.  We depart the US on September 11 and return on September 24.

Whilst on the trip, we will visit three Marian Shrines, including Our Lady of La Salette, Our Lady of Lourdes, and Our Lady of Fatima. And an additional stop at the shrine of St. Ignatius of Loyola, and much more. Our trip will conclude with two nights in Paris.

A highlight of our travels will be visiting the mountain shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, where Our Lady appeared to two children, Maximin (11) and Melanie (14), on September 19, 1946.  At this site, the La Salette Missionaries first began as a global Congregation. On our trip, we will have the blessing to visit the La Salette site on the actual feast day of September 19, 2025. We will share prayers and daily mass and focus on reconciliation, which is at the heart of the La Salette message. I pray that this trip can be a bilingual trip, to grow in our faith as a multicultural community.
