PAYMENT PLAN:

  • $1,000.00 of the total amount is due on or before August 1, 2023

Itinerary

                                                                  

Day 1: Sunday, January 14, 2024 - Departure from the UA

  • Depart for your overnight flight to the Holy Land. Meals will be served on board.

Day 2: Monday January 15th - Arrival to Tel Aviv

  • Arrive at Ben Gurion airport.

  • Meet your guide & driver, and transfer to Tiberias.

  • Dinner & overnight at hotel in Tiberius.

Day 3: Tuesday January 16th - Sea of Galilee - Golan Heights

  • Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. 

  • Caesarea Philippi

  • Overlook Syrian borders.

  • Enjoy a meal of St. Peter's fish.

  • The Mount of Beatitudes. Tabgha, St. Peter's Primacy, Capernaum

  • Dinner and overnight in Tiberius.

Day 4: Wednesday, January 17th Nazareth - Mount Carmel - Caesarea Maritima

  • Nazareth, Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph's Church.

  • Mount Carmel, the church of Prophet Elijah.

  • Caesarea Maritima.

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Tiberius.

Day 5: Thursday January 18th, Hope School - Ramallah

  • Depart hotel to Ramallah and Taybeh

  • Visit the Hope School and meet with the Principal and students

  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 6: Friday, January 19th, Bethlehem - ELCJHL

  • Visit the ELCJHL School in Beit Sahour to meet with the Principal and students.

  • Tent of Nations.

  • Meeting with Pastor Munther Isaac from Christmas Lutheran Church

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Bethlehem.

  • Evening walk, Visit the Walled Off Hotel, walk by the wall

Day 7: Saturday, January 20th, Dead Sea - Jordan River - Jericho

  • View Wadi Qelt, view the Valley of Shadow of Death, and St. George Monastery.

  • Visit Jericho, and view Mt. of Temptation.

  • Baptism site (Jordan River).

  • Lunch at Qumran, overlook the Qumran caves.

  • Floating in the Dead Sea.

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Jerusalem

Day 8: Sunday, January 21st, Sunday Worship (ELCJHL) - Jerusalem 

  • Worship at the Redeemer Church in the Old City. 

  • Meet with Pastor Salley & Bishop Azar

  • The Western Wall

  • Holy Sepulcher

  • Visit the Holocaust Museum.

  • Free time in Jerusalem

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Jerusalem

Day 9: Monday, January 22nd, Pools of Bethesda - Via Dolorosa - Jerusalem 

  • Walk to the Temple Mount, view of the Dome of the Rock and El-Aqsa Mosque.

  • St. Anne's Church, the Pools of Bethesda.

  • Walk the Via Dolorosa.

  • Lunch in the Old City.

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 10: Tuesday, January 23rd, Mt. of Olives - Augusta Victoria Hospital - Garden of Gethsemane

  • Panoramic view from the top of Mount of Olives.

  • Visit Augusta Victoria Hospital 

  • Visit Al-Mahaba Nursery/kindergarten on the Mt. of Olives.

  • Visit the LWF Vocational Training Center, followed by lunch.

  • Walk the Palm Sunday Path, The Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of All Nations.

  • Mt. Zion, St. Peter in Gallicantu, Caiaphas House 

  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 11: Wednesday, January 24th, Bethlehem - ELCJHL

  • Visit Dar al-Kalima University in Bethlehem. 

  • Visit Talitha Kumi and tour the Environmental Education Center and meet with the school lunch at the school while listening to presenters from EEC.

  • Visit the Church Nativity.

  • Visit the Shepherds Field worship service with BP. Wee, Rev. Gabi and Meghan Alabouni.

  • Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight at a hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 12: Thursday, January 25th - Departure 

  • Departure to the airport.

  • Departure checks out and departs our hotel for our return home. We will arrive on the same day.

 

Optional Post-Tour Egypt Excursion: January 25-29

 

Day 10 January 25th :  Taba border – Sinai
 Arrive Taba order. Meet and assist. Transfer to St. Catherine. Dinner and
overnight in St. Catherine. 

Day 11 January 26th: Climb Mt Sinai – Cairo
Early morning, climb Moses mountain. It was this mountain where Moses received the Ten
Commandments. Descend for breakfast at the hotel. Visit St. Catherine’s monastery. Drive to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 12 January 27th: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza plateau. On to visit Memphis and the step pyramid of Sakkara which is the first pyramid ever built. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. 

Day 13 January 28th: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit the Grand Museum which includes the ancient Egyptian treasures. On to visit Old Cairo churches including the Hanging church, St. Sergio where the holy family lodged, and Ben Ezra synagogue. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 14 January 29th: Departure
Departure after breakfast.
